Away from the Sun I Wander

Fri, 03/25/2016 - 20:27 -- Amarix

away from the sun i wander

from insignificant moments

i change ages

i yearn for the Unknowable

all things Invalid

into the night i tread

the fearsome light of my shadow

shifts

telegraphs from oblivion

illuminate my path.

dripping through the darkness

a cacophony of colour

the endless clocks spinning

where Time means space

so goes the fires of Hephaestus

branding iron of the past

in a Universe whose dictionary

speaks synonyms of before and behind

Look for me, my Future!

i dream i think i write i do i say i am

I am

poetic moment.

encased in dawn I find

return to sender

paper confetti showers caught

in breath

these words I shall never believe again

never fall, never fall from my lips

O, betwixt and between

bewitch

away from the orb i wonder

i go on and wonder
