Awkwardly in Love
Most days I'm scared
To start a conversation with you
But just because I don't
Doesn't mean I'm not dying to speak
And sometimes my body floods with emotions
Faster than I can build a sturdy dam
But my vocal chords are singed and gone
Leaving behind a guilty wreck of sound
Refusing to say anything important
Notice me
