Awkwardness and All

Dear Self,

I only want what's best for you.

So heed my advice very carefully.

Life isn't meant to be passed through.

It's not meant to be lived so fearfully.

You have so much unused potential.

It's just hidden behind your insecurities.

Let God Himself be influential,

And get rid of all your uncertainties.

Learn to be more confident.

Stop hiding behind those books.

Make your voice more prominent,

And don't worry about how anything looks.

Don't think you'll never belong.

Just be yourself, never feel small,

And always stand strong.

Because you're beautiful, awkwardness and all.

Sincerely, Me.
