aWOKE

There are moments in your life that mold you
Times when you hold your breath
And hold…
And hold…
And when you finally exhale…you realize
The reality you’ve created is not actual
It was your armour
A fiction you dreamed to sleep at night
But then comes that one night when you let your body sleep
To digest what you learned
To feel what you have been suppressing for far too long
Then you finally open your eyes…aWOKE.
