Before the shell
We were all the same
Before the walls
We all felt the rain
Prior to offense and defense
There were no games
Yet we played
No concept of contest
Simply the sun and the shade
At night
None slept
There were too many dreams to be had
Can you remember
When we were too busy to be sad
