Baby Boy

Write your heart out Baby Boy. There’s only one thing that brings me joy; to say the truth, to speak my mind.. and Right Now it’s About Time. I always care no matter what; unconditional, make me a Slut? It doesn’t matter if you have a New Girl or a New Toy. You will always be that boy. Not a man, yeah, you haven’t the balls. I wonder how you “deck the halls.” My stomach turns at the thought of you, disgusted smirk is added too. Too good a person despite that fact; I still care, worry about you, and you shattered my heart just like that. Good thing hearts are not what loves… it’s brains that God graces from above. Brains that feel and know and want… that love and love no matter what. Just tell your friends dear Baby Boy I may be a Bitch, but I Am No Toy.

I love words... I actually started out writing lyrics for songs and then I realized how much more I can express myself through poetry. One of my teachers pushed me to join the writing club at school and the book that the club published had so many amazing writers that I decided that I wanted to be a part of that community. When I write my poetry about a topic that means something to me it makes me feel freer, like a weight lifts off my shoulders every time and I LOVE IT!
