Baby Don't Hurt Me....
Coming home to see you, standing there with
Arms reached out waiting for a hug,
Smiling gently as the TV hums in the background,
Our eyes meeting as you pick me up and hold me,
Talking about both of our days, both caring about the other person as deeply as the sun and the stars,
You don't expect anything from me, except being myself, and I of you.
We don't push our limits unless it's something important,
And we end each day saying I love you.
Nothing is forced, nothing is done without purpose.
Our love is not harmful and it doesn't impose itself
Upon either party. We've gained so much experience, we've learned to grow in one another,
Without you here I'd be lost. You are my comfort, my life, my heart, my safety, and my home.
