Baby Girl

No need for jewelry,

No earrings or bracelets

No fancy clothes or expensive shoes

No need for a hundred dollar haircut

With a sassy look in her eye

She watches your every move

Nails always done just right

Orange and white eye shadow paint her upper and lower lids

Eyeliner always done perfectly upon her skin

Freckles cover her body

Hair done up in spikes

The only accessory she needs is her perfect scaly back

Saphira, my baby girl

Saphira the bearded dragon

With her soft under belly and her distinct bent tail

She makes my day much brighter,

I cannot live without her
