baby girl

I loved you from the start

when I first saw you, you robbed my heart

I saw you at lunch and was to nervous to speak

I couldn't even steal a peek

of your gorgeous face

before my heart began to race

I finally talked to you and ran hiding because of my fallibilitys

even now I cant speak in front of your desirability

when I saw you at a dance

 I was in a trance

I finally spoke up without messing up

and I was finally getting out of the rut

since then we've been best friends

and I know it will not ends

I confessed my feelings but it was to late

at that point I felt an atomic weight

I cried in the dark

the news broke my heart

you made  another relationship thrive

knowing you are happy is the only way I survive

your love hurt you

and I helped you through

now your love is a marine

I vow to make you serene

you asked for help but you never had to ask

because your happiness is my only task

you have always been above, my dove,

and my love

you forced me out of my comfy shell

and you took me through hell

you have taken me for a whirl

but you will forever be my baby girl
