Baby, I Love You
You know my flaws and still you stay
You held me through all my breakdowns
Never judging me once
Mentally and emotionally unstable you stand with me
Because you love I try to get better
Because I love you, you control your anger
You limit your anxiety
You’re at peace with your mind
Baby we’re just two damaged people trying to love again
When you kissed and accepted my scars
I knew I was there to stay
Baby I love you and I know you love me too
We started as friends
We built a bond, a friendship before anything
Baby the only time I’ll check your phone is for the weather
Baby I trust you with my whole heart
You wouldn’t hurt me intentionally
We’ve been through so many bad exes
Baby you know what he did to me
You promised to never raise your voice at me
You promised to never lay a hand on me
Baby you make sure I eat and sleep
You care about my health
Baby I love you for accepting my fault
Darlin’ I know you love me too
You loved me when I couldn’t love myself
Because I love you, I’ll always be there for you.
