I am terrified

A wave of fear washes over me

It consumes me  

It suffocates me

I cannot move

 

I square myself

I plant my feet on the ground

I feel the earth pulsate through me

It connects with me

 

But I all can do is stand there

Just stand there

I try to focus on my goal
