Mama? Yes baby? What’s a nigger? A mean name for our people. Mama? Yes baby? Who are our people? Colored folk. Mama? Yes, baby? Why are we called niggers? Baby, that’s just the way it is. Mama? Yes, baby? Do you think it’ll every change? I hope so, baby, I hope so.
