Back Again

Warmth of your had was my desire

dont dare to reach for you'll be burned by fire.

Because I loved you in so many ways,

you felt all too comfortable to ruin my days.

It was "she wont leave", not "please dont go",

my confidence sank to an all time low.

But because I heard "I love you" from your voice,

I believed serving you was my only choice.

There was no respect or effort you showed to me,

but somehow my fault it always seemed to be.

If only I could go back and let myself know,

Love is not a one man show.
