Back and Forth
I’m done, we’re through. Can’t keep doing this with you. “No please, don’t leave you are everything to me”. But if I’m everything to you why is this what you do. The definition of insanity is doing the same things and expecting different results. Why do we keep doing this and expecting it to work? We aren’t changing a thing. We jump back to where we were. Pretending everything is okay. Pretending we aren’t locked in a room chained to different walls. Pretending we see the same future. You’re looking at me but I’m looking at the door. On your hands and knees you are crying out for me but as I lay there on the floor I hope there is more beyond these walls. And as were trapped inside this room the real world goes on. Life is passing by as we are fighting this fight that we’ve already lost and I’m wondering what will take me first, My starvation for change, or my desperation for him.
