Back in the Day

Back in the day There were Barbie's and dollies Back in the day We could put them away Back in the day We would play all day Now we fast forward The dollies are babies The play is now life And the memories are growing There are real choices Things we never thought about Back in the day We thought we knew it all But turns out we were wrong As we're up through the night Struggling Only to see that little smile Now nothing else matters We've grown from being children To caring for children of our own To glowing as strong mother's And to continue to grow everyday
