Back to Life

The soft pluck of a string

Two Then three A beautiful harmony rings, And lingers over like a blanket of silk The soft pulse eventually matching Every beat of your heart The melody that sends shivers From the top of your head To the tips of your toes A mellow tone that allows the Message to flow right through your veins, straight to your heart Filling every rip or tear, Mending what is broken And speaking the words that could not be spoken Allowing the tear to roll down No explanation Only emotion The song that Brings You Back to life
