Back To School

Is it just me or did the summer totally fly by?

It seems to have gone by in the blink of an eye!

It's that time of year again,

The school year has offically began.

Pencils, crayons and backpacks galore...

And you can never have to many pens; I always need more!

The new normal is the morning rush,

Makes me reminisce of lazy summer days  when I

lounged late in my bed, all plush.

Water and breakfast is now how I roll.

It's only been a couple of days and it's already taking It's toll!

I know I shouldn't throw a fit,

As summer will be back before we know it!

So, be happy and don't shed a tear,

Hip hip hooray for a safe and blessed school year!
