Back Then

Life was so easy BACK THEN When momma rouse us from sleep And for a ride, father waited outside Starting grandfathers old jeep And grandmother placed a bet That if my sister or I will run like a jet And whoever drinks the milk first Will get oreos and pie's crust And my sister stole my band and pony And undone the clothing of my doll, Molly. Then I ran to my momma's room And cried my heart out and lightened doom She ran upstairs and slapped her hard Then she acted all like a retard And my brother, his entry ofcourse He used to fill his trolley in general stores With sublime gadgets and torches and cells And would crack my flowers and seep shells Now we have grown so old Didn't know that how soon our lives will mould Those bed time stories are now tomorrow's schedule Wakes us up for meeting, phone's alarm bell And our trips to park are now business travels Wasn't it too early to jump into this hell? We have grown old now, there's no going back Life begins when the egg cracks But we just take long time to start Thanks to our lovely parents who granted an amazing childhood to us Whose life since the beginning is a fuss are poor orphans!
