Back to a time

Back to a time when we were young,
back to a time of smiles.
Back to a time when all was well,
back to a time of laughs.

Back when all the sadness we knew was scraping our knees
and not allowed second desserts.
Back when the stress we knew was little to none at all.

When we laughed and giggled, threw tiny tantrums.
When we were put in time out.
When there were ES' and P's and I's, and N's,
This was a better time.
