Back Where She Belongs

She took her hands far away

Back to safety

Where they were grasping the world

By the wrists of crazy

She took her feelings far away

Back to the basement

Where it didn’t matter

What was her replacement

She took her worries far away

Back to her mother

Where she would finally see

Her constant struggle

She took her brain with her

Back where it belongs

Where no one would see

What she really thought

                        -sk.
