In the Backyard of our House

In the backyard of our house With the squirrels that climb Up in the trees In their own minds In our heads relating And share our experiences In the shining of day In the radiance of night That fire that warms you In your hands like the sun Between the leaves In designs of make-believe And stories you tell to children In a world of hardship And hassles throughout With the squirrels that climb In the backyard of our house.
