Bad Advice to a Girl With Good Intentions

Work harder.

Work until your skin burns with sweat

That'll be sure to make it thicker

Be quicker.

Nothing says disappointment

Like someone who's too slow

Please grow.

Be tall so that maybe

A boy might call you back

You lack so much.

You slack off so much

That your future's looking black

Maybe the absence of color

Comes from your lack of lovers

Or the stutter

That you get when you're sad

Never cry.

Your tears display weakness on your cheek

Leaking like your unique quality of

Immorality

Why do you lie?

Paint the sky

Blue again until the paint's overused

Until your hands are permanently bruised

From holding the brush for too long

You're doing it wrong.
