Bad man

You see, When I was young getting in trouble was so much fun. Fighting and stealing always jumping the gun. Hanging with my boys drinking and partying. Not a worry in the world about a future and my part in it. But I had to slow down, Because I started seeing some things. My friends were locked up and dying. They can no longer live there dreams. I thought about my own life and the future I could hold. So I started doing right. Doing everything I'm told. Following the rules. Making a path for me. But when I do good. things start happening see. So I protected my family. But, the courts didn't see the same. They sent me away for years to come. And when I came home i tried but my future was done. Jobs won't hire me. It's not like I'm bad. But my one quick decision left me without a path. Losing years of my life apparently wasn't good enough. Now I have to do everything I can just to make a buck. I refuse to go back. I'm doing the right thing. Just a little bit of trust is all that I need. One of these days I hope they understand. One bad decision doesn't make me a bad man.
