Bad pasts can be forgotten

Running but to slow to get away the monster the thing that haunts you, your dreams, thoughts, and your life you run faster almost reaching there except it catches you again and pulls you down You try to forget try to hide Try to erase it, wishing you could move on Be who you know you can be Hoping its not to late that you havent let it affect you, your loved ones, to much That you wouldnt be able to forget Bad past can be forgotten let it be forgotten, let it become a distict memory Be someone who doesnt let hate and pain consume them Be someone who only feels love and happiness So you run again the road following behind you, your all alone, you feel the street lights watching you run Reminding you why your running hate, words, pain, tears, and sorrow Then you stop, stop and think why am i running You start to walk the other way facing your past Because bad past can be forgotten.
