A Bad Poem

It is not the nature of a poem to cater

Poetry does not have to be good

My poems are saved for later

They are just for me, and they are my food

They fill me, and they hurt me,

       and they hold my hurt.

some days!   i am forced to write

because there is  nothing else    left.

and i BEG! that they are good enough for you -

Reader,

...and i dont know why

(because I need to be good enough too!)

-but sometimes:

poems just need to be written -

not read.
