Bad Trip
There was something about you.
The way you lit up the room with your smile,
everyone talking to you like they haven't seen you in a while.
Once you took a glance at me, that smile faded away so quickly.
You knew I broke you to pieces with my careless words, that
ran deep into your thick blood into your sensitive, caring, and loving heart.
The vibe between us in that moment was non exisitent.
Before, we would take walks on the beach, sing a long to our favorite songs in the car,
and play dressup with the interesting style of clothes at different shops.
Five months passed, and we haven't talked since the best part of my life ended.
It felt like a movie, lving life in the moment with you, my best friend and lover.
Later on that night, these flashback memories came back
and couldn't help but to take a trip.
A trip to free my mind and which could bring me closer to you.
Staying up writing in my small journal, thoughts about us and what we could've been to this day.
Unfortunately, this was a bad trip that took my life away.
I hope you are doing great,
because you are such a star with that vibrant smile of yours.
I hope you don't forget about me, while I'm looking down on you everyday, proud of who you are.
