I will miss you when I leave-

Though, I suppose that’s inevitable and right…

You’re just so cheerful and devious and just the thing to brighten my day

I doubt at college there’ll be a lovely little pixie who takes me to burlesque shows-

Someone who insists I try the pickled vegetables she’s so proud of cooking.

You are just such a wonderful friend and it’ll be dreadful to have to leave you and the other two of the triumvirate.

Still, it will be good, and I’ll insure that we stay in touch.

We just have to.

A being like you doesn’t come into one’s life very often, and you are worth cherishing.
