I regret giving you the best parts of me

And you'll never hear me say

I miss you

My feelings for you will never change

I still feel the lump in my  throat when someone says your name

Because even though you're not around

I hate the thought of you

So, don't you ever believe

I would long to have your arms around me again

In fact,

The thought of it makes me sick

You and I both know

I could've hurt you the way you hurt me

So don’t you ever think

I need you

My lips can't even form these words because

Your absence brought me peace

(Now read from the bottom line, left to right, back to the top.)
