Balancing Act

Some find themselves

When they curl their toes over the edge of reason

Looking down at all that is sane

I look up for these toes so maybe

I can reach out and up for their hand

for them to pull me up on their side of crazy

Maybe we can balance on the edge together

and balance with our toes on each side

by gripping our hands together for a moment

Unfortunately gravity urges that one should fall.
