Ballad of the Brokenhearted

Oh wretched soul consumed by darkness The cold...cold...darkness. The pain and hatred your soul have seen and felt, brings the stars to tears. It amazes me how you continue to strive towards the future, while you’re stuck in the past. Continuing the same cycle of pain over and over, until your heart became a cage False smiles, your chains. Scornful glances, your shackles. Cutting into you like a warm knife, Leaving nothing more than crimson pool at your feet.
