The Ballerina

Unscripted part,

now open to my rehearsal.

I slip on my point shoes and stand before the panel.

Begin.

I glide across the unknown world,

and leap into the skies that surround it.

My chin is high and a smile is on my face,

an adverturer, a dreamer, a human, of this

dance of this story.

My soul builds and my body launches,

into action, into my lover eyes, the sweet kiss of day.

I point my toes and turn quickly.

The character in danger, in awe, in agony.

Someone gasps, as I grand allegro into the air.

I turn one more time and stop, my palms out. A surrender.

My eyes gaze down at the floor. My heart beats wildly.

Finished.

The judges say nothing.

I will recieve a yes or no in a week.
