Ballerina in a box

She's boxed up

Her emotions kept under lock

Mask firmly in place

Leaving no trace

She dances to their tune

Never granted a boon

She's breaking slowly

One day she’ll burst

And everyone will see her at her worst

But until then she’ll dance

With no one sparing her a second glance

Cause she’s a ballerina in a box

Until she drops
