Ballet Professor

Turn your head, bend your knees Plea lower, stay on beat Watch your counts, hold your form Be the music and be the step Breathe through your entire body but don’t drop your hold Squeeze those abs and push up your sternum Let the movement flow through Don’t think, just smile Let the beat move you Don’t look as though it’s hard, make it look effortless Turn and finish” The sounds of a lesson That voice that can go from soft too harsh within a count The motivation to jump higher The first person you hug when you come off stage The first person after your mom of course.
