Balling Before I Ball

Joining Varsity Basketball, my stomachs droppin, I'm afraid I won't be poppin.  I don't want to play, coach keep me in the fray.  People pack the stands but I can't hardly stand.  We're warming up but my hands are cold, I don't feel bold.  The game is staring but I can't stop nervous farting.  Coach puts me in and I start slamming that ball in.  My fear gives way to the post player in my way.  With my fear gone, I am light on my feet.  I found my beat.  No one can stop my heat.  The game is done, I feel as if I've won.  I now know, fear is a tether.  Trying to hold me back but I know that is whack.
