Balloons

Where do you find yourself?

When you’re running out of time

Burning through your thoughts

As your feelings take over.

I find myself in between the clouds

As my worries float away

Feeling no bottom as it falls out below me

Flying higher with no ceiling

Just like some balloons.

Where do you find yourself?

When your world turns over

Life falls short

Of what you expected it to be.

I find myself in between the clouds

As my worries float away

Feeling no bottom as it falls out below me

Flying higher with no ceiling

Just like some balloons.

Where do you find yourself?

When you’re tearing through the walls

Escaping your reality

As your past drowns you.

I find myself in between the clouds

As my worries float away

Feeling no bottom as it falls out below me

Flying higher with no ceiling

Just like some balloons.

Where do you find yourself?

When your life falls through the cracks

Trapped beneath every move you make

Of what you prayed wouldn’t happen to you.

I find myself in between the clouds

As my worries float away

Feeling no bottom as it falls out below me

Flying higher with no ceiling

Just like some balloons.
