Balls

Expectations and warnings

Consider carefully the beginnings

Every action has consequence

Every inaction is opportunity

Slipped

Away.

Oh, I’m brave

So courageous

I love to live outrageous

The chains on me bind inside

Cold darkness chills inspiration

Desperation to provide, survive

Bet on the known before you’re grown

Treat dreams as pets and leave greatness

To luck

What the fuck?!

The branch is high

I can’t see the ground but the sky

Calls to me

Ain’t no bird who lived who never leapt

Ain’t no flyin’ without the risk of dyin’

I gotta go with my head swimmin’

My heart brimmin’

Judge me when I’m dead

‘cause my life is my time

Watch me fly.
