Banana Split

Sweet as sugar
Tasty as a banana split
With “I love you”
Sprinkles all over it

Caringly crafted
With respect and love
A sense of security attracted
When push comes to shove

A necessary equilibrium
Of faith and understanding
Equipoise between sacrifice and freedom
And that initial zing

A healthy relationship to me
Is to be put simply
bliss and pure happiness
With every meaningful kiss
