A band of captives, trapped


A band of captives, trapped in a cave

deep within the earth

Held prisoners like slaves, chains bind them to a wall,

holding them down in the dirt

 

No joy of human relations, elations of freedom

never felt

Never spared from life, the knife of the reaper

is never dealt

 

Enslaved for all eternity, earnestly

beggng for death

unheard by all, calls that get

lost in the depths

 

Time slowly stalks by like a hungry beast, keys

ringing in his filthy paws

guarding his prisoners fate, hate in his eyes, taunting them

"Eternity is so long"

 

Destiny decided, divided from the world, society

blind to hells scheme

all hope appeared to be lost, until one prisoner

awoke from a dream... TO BE CONTINUED
