The Band Marches On...

The day was a blur

still faded, i awaken

i begin the impossible

though inside still shaken

i walk among stares

my agony shook the ground

the grapevine loops along

whispers echo all around

kicked into line

i stand as a soldier

with a face stone cold

my eyes look over

the enemy in sight

target locked on

there on the horizon

i spy he now gone

stepping into rhythm

memories cut strong

hate pulsed through drums

the band marches on....
