band together for a change at heart

Band has tought me lessons that I shall never forget,

It gave me a family when I swore I did not fit.

I learned to push through when it seems hard,

 and everything you learn will leave you scarred.

Always try hard, and strive for the best, 

When youre in public you must act to impress. 

Your band is your family and you must never stray, 

you will work hard together each and every day.

To be a great leader, you must be confident and strong,

you must live as an example all day long.

You work hard and you have fun,

but if you do wrong, you'll have to run.

And as we sit or stand and play together,

I realize that I am lucky for there is nothing better.

That is how I was relieved of pain and strife,

and how the band has changed my life.
