Baneful
Do I really want to have a baby? What if it’s a girl ? How would I feel knowing that my little baby girl would go out there with these entitle man telling her what she can and can’t do with her body from the way she dress to what she thinks to what she likes and what she does we are taught to just be but not how we want we are taught how we can’t just be smart we also gotta be soft spoken if not you’ll offend the male ego how would I tell my baby girl that when she steps outside and she hears man cat calling her to keep walking how could I do that with a straight face and not cry cuz I wish I could make it better for her I wish I could tell her yes say something but the fear of her getting hurt would stop me from saying does words how would I tell her that the world is rule by man that think her body is theres how could I tell her to silence her voice how could I tell her to live as if she don’t hear or see them how could I say all of that and still want her to be loud and still want her to be independent and still want her to be brave and still want her to stand up for her self how could I torn her and still not cry inside because all I did since I young was fight for her and it wasn’t enough
