The Bank

1. The visit
Colourful neckscarves,. mild  grey uniform, welcome smiles
Easy gentle assistance, offers too good to turn down
Lots of interest.
Interest in me
interest on interest
Pleasant and smiling  ,
Nothing too much trouble.
No need to phone India
This is a bank

 2 . The return
All in black, frosty faces,
no eye contact.
Computer says no.
Sit down there. Leave me alone
Don’t know where your money's gone
We can’t sort  it ,
Phone India
Phone India
Put up with the canned music for 30 minutes
We can’t help.
This is a bank.
