Bankrupt

Psalm 94:11

11 The Lord knows that
peoples’ thoughts are morally bankrupt.

Bankrupt

Walking on the water? ... My life seems to sink in sand

struggling step by step ... emptiness in both hands.

How much farther ... where will it end?

Born to be inept ... where is the Promised Land?

Little do I know ... and most of that forgotten.

Picked and chose the things ... which were ill-begotten.

Where to go now ... as my possessions are rotting?

Is there anything left to bring ... no guilt, no fear, no nothing?
