Bar Owl

I hate my job

it makes me feel like a purposeless blob

i need a new one

the kind in which projects are done

people are fun

and i can be outside with the sun

engineering is my calling,

in love i am falling

with the idea of my life embalming

with the fragrance of ingenuity and science

where we accept defiance

my colleagues and i forming an alliance

every new day a new project

not our special from the grill

not asking if you want your martini chilled

"shaken not stirred"

look bond we created a laser guided missile bird

we fixed all the dongs and the dinks and the kinks

but for now all i engineer is drinks

standing behind a bar where all i do is dream and think
