Barbazon

Boston can be blamed for my struggles

for my identity is mixed up

between what’s good y que lo que

and if my twists are curls or locks

but I love the struggles

as colleges love my struggle

and my highschool searches for my struggles in other kids

I’m unique they say

I’m woven in two different cloths

mixed in two different comida o great eats

jambalaya y sancocho

that’s my identity

for I carry lots of seasoning

unlike the chicken noodle soups that surround me

that try to play with my ingredients

like my hair

I love my struggles

for I come from the mud

Y el tierra

why be the same when you can be different
