Barbie Plays Ken
Barbie Plays Ken, race cars and shooters,
Barbie Plays Ken, shorts, ponytails, and graphic tee’s.
Issue is this Barbie looks nothing like a Barbie expect she looks like a Ken.
Women are made of man so why am I wrong to act like a Ken?
My mother use to force me in little purple sweat-suits,
but tricked me into them because they were less girly than the others I had to choose from.
In my mind: “this can be my favorite outfit only if I make it more boyish.”
Little girls at school would look at me as if I was a creature from Mars with three eyes and a pegged leg.
They would ask me why I always dressed like a boy, and I told them because I am.
I just was a Barbie believing I was Ken.
The Barbies I knew at school would wear little white dresses with those shiny shoes, I never owned such a thing but when I seen those little Barbies in those mid-knee dipped cream dresses they owned my attention in a unnormal way.
I just was a Barbie that was thinking like a Ken.
I realized my gaze wasn’t natural, but of animalistic characteristics and me liking what I saw wasn’t just an Elementary phase of let’s see who has poka dots or striped undies.
I quick ridden these emotions because Barbies touching Barbies is not tolerated in a Society.
Where the death rates are higher than marriage rates, yet still homosexuals are 5% of this statistic.
I just was a Barbie turning into a Ken.
Before everyone’s eyes, I went from the little cute tom-boy that liked to run with the boys,
Into one of the boys.
That’s when I became an issue to my community, that’s when rumor’s risen about my sexuality, and that’s when I became alone because I was a Female acting like a Male.
But yet, In this World Society barely accpets the bullshit lies it produces,
because of the frothed hypocrites that creeps upon it.
The very one’s that cast the first stone are the one’s under the stone committing the same,
Unlawful Sin.
I just was a Barbie accepting the Ken within me.
I’ve dated girls, who’s mothers didn’t accept the fact that their daughter didn’t want a Ken,
Yet in actuality a Woman the could undoubtedly be Her Man.
See. Her mother just wanted her Barbie to play with a Ken,
But her mother is pissed at me because her daughter is with me.
A Barbie that acts and dresses like a Ken.
I refuse to suppress what I love,
because Soicety is uncomfortable with it’s own stability.
The News can dance around the topics of Homosexuality,
but I refuse to dance along like a submissive soldier just to be
Apart of the American way.
I will not sell myself short of, who I am and what I’ve became,
because I am Proud.
I am a Proud:
Barbie Turnt Ken.
