Bare and Fragile

Break away from everything.

Are you aware of whom you are?

Remember when you were little and you knew

Exactly what you wanted in life?

All I remember now is fuzzy memories

Nights I spent weeping because of you,

Days I spent waiting for the dark you summoned to fade

Forgive myself is all I can do,

Relearn who I am, what I live for,

And understand how to move on without you

Growth is necessary in overcoming the pain.

It takes time but soon a flicker of self-

Loving flame will appear and glow until all the

Emptiness is filled once more.
