Bare Feet

   Faint dreams, I recall as

      memories.

Pities in small guilt that

 don't matter anymore.

i don't consider them nightmares,

just vague flashes that run through my mind.

Deep bone-chill and lost in a realm I can't

escape;but to only watch the universe orbit around me.

I have made big decisions before

but only the little one's pierce smoothly through my skin,

leaving hidden scars.

The little one's that snicker, proding at me to burst because my mistakes.

It haunts me; leaving my ghost to believe I could have made a simple change. wondering,

why hadn't I done this or done that instead?

My reason may sound childish, but every tiny thing I do will impact and change my

future.

Every step I take. Where am I going?

walking on exposed feet, not knowing where to turn.

People ask me:

"Are you alright?"                                     My response:

                                                         "Everything's fine".

Trying to retain from from puking up the words

                                                            "I"m lost".

So I walk on bare feet on desert ground

waiting for fate to find me.
