Baretta to my mind
One gun and a shaky hand
One thought and no longer existence
I could pull the trigger and end all persistence
The true thought I am my own resistance
I think about the things I care about
I ponder the dreams I never lived
I hate what I can’t control
I hate my desires I can’t get a hold
The world hates me
I am all alone
The pistol is a cousin that could kiss my temple
I’ve gotten this far with no remorse
I’ve came so close to veer off course
No fear no shame just adjacent aim
No mind no dreams just darkness
Click! The gun is empty
One more chance to put it simply
