The Barking Dog

My dog’s ears perk up to the sound of birds

Chasing them without any regard

She is a dog who was born to chase herds

But instead she runs around the yard

She was born on a farm

She has a brownish white fur

When guest come over, she brings a charm

As she was bred pure

Her barks shake the house

It is quite infuriating

It would scare the life out of a mouse

Yet even with her flaws she is very fascinating

I love my dog

Even though she sometimes acts like a hog
